1. Different properties: The wheel hub is the rotating part of the wheel core connected by the column of the inner profile wheel steel of the tire. The brake drum is the friction coupling of the drum brake, except that it should have the strength and rigidity required as a component.

2. Different devices: In addition to various retarding devices, automobile brakes are almost all friction brakes that use friction between fixed components and rotating components to generate braking torque. The rim is fitted with the tire to support the wheel portion of the tire.

3. Different composition: The width of the wheel hub is also commonly known as the J value. The width of the wheel hub directly affects the choice of tires. For tires of the same size, the J value is different, and the aspect ratio and width of the selected tires are also different. The brake drum is integrally cast from high strength gray cast iron or alloy cast iron containing Cr.

Note:

1. When the temperature of the wheel hub is high, it should be allowed to cool naturally before cleaning. Never use cold water to clean it; otherwise, it will damage the aluminum alloy wheel hub and even deform the brake disc and affect the braking effect. In addition, cleaning the aluminum alloy hub with detergent at high temperature will cause a chemical reaction on the surface of the hub, lose its luster, and affect the appearance.

2. When the wheel hub is stained with asphalt that is difficult to remove, if the general cleaning agent is useless, try to remove it with a brush, but do not use a hard brush, especially an iron brush, so as not to damage the surface of the wheel hub.

3. If you find deep scars on the wheel hub, you must observe whether the metal surface is exposed. If you can't see the metal surface, you won't rust. 1.1 the point with a pen tip and wait for the paint to dry completely. If it is found that the metal is exposed, it is best to replace it.
